Position Overview

About You

You will be responsible for fulfilling regulators’ reporting obligations complying with domestic and abroad. Review and approve marketing materials for compliance. Check products from a legal and compliance perspective. Develop, maintain and review policies for Compliance Program’s general operation to prevent improper, unethical, and illegal conduct. Handle rules, regulations, and policy violations and review and suggest investigative procedures initiation.

Basic Requirements

=> Draft and vet contracts, Agreements, MOUs, legal notices, replies, other notices, processes, trade letters, other letters, regulatory communications, other communications, etc., as and when required. => Provide leisure compliance with relevant laws and applicable guidelines at all times. => Visit and complete tasks at different government offices. => Manage and protect the Intellectual Property rights of the company. => Liaise with external legal counsel as and when required. => Prepare and circulate official meeting minutes. => Responsibly conduct all assigned tasks in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders. => Assist the company secretary in the secretarial work of the Company by drafting meeting minutes of the board meetings, AGM, EGM, and other works. => Liaise with RJSC as and when required as per the requirement of the Company. => Any other tasks assigned by the line manager/department head. => Carry out stakeholder identification, mapping, and knowledge-based relationship building with government bodies, trade associations, etc. => Carrying out external engagements on behalf of the company => Regulatory forecasting, information-sourcing, and knowledge management, including maintaining a current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents => Conduct regulatory impact analysis and risk-benefit analysis for the business and advise the company to prevent and mitigate regulatory, financial, and reputational risks

Not Mandatory But Good To Have

=> LLB from a reputed local or foreign university => Barrister-at-Law or LL.M. will be an added advantage. => 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a multinational environment

Salary Range

=> Up to 50,000 – 80,000 BDT/Month
