ShellBeeHaken is looking for an experienced Finance and Planning officer who will look after the day-to-day Finances. The Finance and planning officer of a fast-growing startup such as ShellBeeHaken can be a challenging yet advantageous role. This role will have broad responsibilities across corporate and operational financial and accounting functions, directing functions such as: Enabling strategic decision making, monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, return on investment analysis, accounting, annual audits, tax compliance, monthly close processes, and other value-added financial analysis. This role is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who can support high-level, complex financial responsibilities and not be afraid to dive into the details daily.

Position Overview
ShellBeeHaken is looking for an experienced Finance and Planning officer who will look after the day-to-day Finances. This role will have broad responsibilities across corporate and operational financial and accounting functions, directing functions such as: Enabling strategic decision making, monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, return on investment analysis, accounting, annual audits, tax compliance, monthly close processes, and other value-added financial analysis. This role is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who can support high-level, complex financial responsibilities and not be afraid to dive into the details daily.

About You
You will be responsible for evaluating the company’s financial documents, including income, expenses, and liabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s finances, acting as a trusted advisor in investments, savings, and debt management. Prepare financial and business analysis reports. You will have to stay updated on the latest regulations, practices, and financial products.
Basic Requirements
=> Partial completion Professional qualification from member bodies of IFAC => Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field. => 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in a multinational environment => Assist in payroll processing and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders => Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, historical financial reports, operational data, and current processes to ensure adequate internal controls. => Create Variance Analyses and monitor changes to find any new trends or opportunities for improvement => Be adept at handling software such as ADP, NetSuite, Tipalti, Bill.com, Expensify, etc. => Maintain communication with all other departments to ensure smooth support services regarding Accounts Payable and Expense reporting => Continuous knowledge development of US GAAP and IFRS => Ensure 100% statutory and FCPA compliance => Ad hoc requests and activities, when required => Assist with annual statutory audit and help ensure the team meets quarterly/annual regulatory deadlines => Willingness to search for innovations in current work processes to facilitate continuous improvements in efficiency
Not Mandatory But Good To Have
=> Management of Accounts Payable (A/P) and maintenance of A/P aging. => Partial completion Professional qualification from member bodies of IFAC.
